& District Aboriginal Co is seeking a Case Manager for the ACAC Wartaka program in Victoria. You will lead investigations, assess needs, and work with children, families and community to secure safety and wellbeing. The role operates in a statutory environment under relevant legislation.

Reporting to the team leader, you will conduct interviews, prepare documentation for court action when required, and collaborate with a care team to implement plans and service referrals.

Formación

• Knowledge of Aboriginal history, culture and ACCHO environment.
• Understanding of Children’s, Youth and Families Act 2005.
• Ability to engage Aboriginal families with professional boundaries.
• Experience in investigations, interviews and documenting evidence.

Responsabilidades

• Lead investigations into reports of harm and assess child protection needs.
• Conduct outreach visits to family homes and manage conflicts.
• Make assessments and recommendations for protection.
• Provide ongoing case management and a strengths-based approach.
• Coordinate with services and refer families to appropriate supports.
