Job summary

Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency Co Op in Wodonga, VIC, is seeking a Case Manager for a fixed-term role until June 2027. The role focuses on engaging Aboriginal families with children aged 0–18 to support safe family functioning and prevent child removal.

You will work within a team reporting to the Strengthening Team Leader, applying strengths-based approaches and collaborating with external services. The position emphasizes cultural safety and community connection.

Qualifications

• 3-5 yrs experience as a Practitioner in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of issues impacting Aboriginal families, children and young people.
• Experience with strengths-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Engage Aboriginal families with children and young people 0-18 to support safe and healthy family functioning.
• Support prevention of removal of children and reunification for children in out-of-home care.
• Report to the Strengthening Team Leader and work as part of a cohesive team.
