Job summary

Royal Automobile Club of WA in Perth is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support a six‑month Leave Audit Project on a full‑time contract. You will conduct detailed audits of leave balances, validate payroll data, and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with Payroll, HR and Finance.

The role requires strong Excel, payroll legislation knowledge, and experience with ADP or Workday; you will ensure compliance with Fair Work and company policies while maintaining audit trails.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and leave entitlements.
• Experience with ADP and Workday is desirable.
• Excellent data analysis and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits of leave balances, accruals and transactions.
• Review and reconcile annual, personal, carer's, long service and other leave entitlements.
• Validate payroll data against contracts and awards.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR and Finance to verify information.
• Maintain thorough audit documentation and ensure compliance.
