Job summary

KBR is seeking a Support Services Center Manager to lead the Government site work order management process at the Alice Springs facility. You will manage a team of specialists focused on maintenance, repair of structures, systems and equipment, with an emphasis on reliability and customer service.

The role requires strong communication, analytical abilities, and proven decision-making under deadlines in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance or Host Nation NV-1 Clearance is required.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting projects of similar scope, size and complexity.
• Minimum two (2) consecutive years of supervisory experience in a Support Center related field.
• Knowledge of process improvement models.
• Experience providing high-quality customer service.
• Experience managing help desk services and work order management systems.
• Experience prioritizing daily/weekly/monthly work plans.
• Experience incorporating environmental health and safety practices across responsible areas.
• Experience working in 24x7x365 operational environments with close coordination to mission operations.
• Experience integrating project schedules and applying project management concepts to schedule, scope, cost, and risks.

Responsibilities

• Direct the facilities' Work Order Management operations and repairs, including predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Serve as Service Order Manager for a project office performing maintenance and services.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate and administer Preventive Maintenance to prevent deterioration.
• Respond to triage fixes and reactive maintenance, repairing or replacing failed items.
• Track status of Work Orders and Job Orders.
• Assess Work Order classifications and meet priority response times.
• Categorize and manage triage fix and job order priorities.
• Manage personnel and subcontractors conducting maintenance and repairs.
• Gather, review and analyze data related to facilities.
• Coordinate pricing from outside vendors on material procurements.
• Coordinate with engineering/architectural firms and advise on facility issues.
• Evaluate project bids for cost, quality, and schedule.
• Monitor and inspect services/construction for quality and schedules.
• Lead operation, maintenance, repair and construction work teams.
• Provide work direction when needed.
• Communicate effectively with diverse teams and resolve operational issues.
