Job summary

Locumco is seeking a dynamic Pharmacist Manager to lead a community pharmacy team in the Mackay region. You will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality patient care, dispense and check prescriptions, and manage PBS claims.

The ideal candidate holds unrestricted AHPRA registration, with at least one year of experience, and demonstrates leadership, strong communication, and team management skills. Relocation assistance and temporary accommodation are provided.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead a community pharmacy team in the Mackay region. The pharmacy is located on a busy shopping strip and is supported by a neighbouring doctors surgery, providing an opportunity to work closely with the local community and healthcare professionals.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while ensuring high-quality patient care and service. Your responsibilities will include dispensing and checking prescriptions, maintaining the DD Book and monthly PBS claims, overseeing dispensary orders, and contributing to QCPP administration and compliance.

The Offer

• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 7:30am–7:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am–6:00pm.
