The Essential Healthcare Group seeks a Managing Pharmacist with a pathway to ownership at a greenfield site in Queensland. You will lead the on-site team and deliver professional pharmacy services to patients and residents.

Applicants must have unrestricted AHPRA registration, be available for weekend shifts, and bring experience in inventory control, multi-disciplinary teamwork, and KPI-driven performance. Relocation support is offered.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist in Charge credential required.
• Customer service etiquette expected.
• Experience with inpatient counselling preferred.
• Professional services including vaccines, medschecks and health checks.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

As the Pharmacist Manager, you will lead the on-site pharmacy team and deliver high-quality, professional pharmacy services to our valued patients and customers.

• Lead pharmacy operations, professional services, and medication supply to both customers and nursing home residents, ensuring the needs of patients and customers are met.

• Provide direction and leadership to the pharmacy team while cultivating a positive culture that empowers everyone to excel.

• Engage in growing the pharmacy and expanding pharmacy services, and promoting collaborative relationships with surrounding doctors and health professionals

About you!

A suitable candidate for this role will have:

• Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge

• Customer service etiquette

• Takes pride in inpatient counselling

• Professional services - vaccines, medschecks, health checks

• Be business KPI and goal-focused for clients

• Able to work independently when necessary

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have unrestricted AHPRA registration to be eligible

• Candidate is required to be available for various shifts, including weekend shifts

• Experience with Inventory management and stock control

• Experience with working within a multi-disciplinary team
