Job summary

Locumco is seeking a dynamic Pharmacist Manager to lead a community pharmacy team in the Mackay region. You will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality patient care, dispense and check prescriptions, and manage PBS claims.

The ideal candidate holds unrestricted AHPRA registration, with at least one year of experience, and demonstrates leadership, strong communication, and team management skills. Relocation assistance and temporary accommodation are provided.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum one year of experience as a registered pharmacist.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Willingness to grow and develop within a leadership role.
• Commitment to maintaining CPD points and training requirements.
• The ability to lead and promote pharmacy services within the team.
• Vaccination accreditation or willingness to obtain accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and check prescriptions and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Maintain the DD Book and monthly PBS claims.
• Oversee dispensary orders and contribute to QCPP administration and compliance.
