Job summary

LocumCo is seeking a Pharmacist Manager to lead a community pharmacy team in Mackay. You will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and manage dispensing, PBS claims, and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds unrestricted AHPRA registration with at least one year of experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to CPD. Relocation support and accommodation are provided.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum one year of experience as a registered pharmacist.
• Strong communication, leadership and team management skills.
• Willingness to grow and develop within a leadership role.
• Commitment to maintaining training requirements and CPD points.
• Ability to lead and promote pharmacy services within the team.
• Vaccination accreditation or willingness to obtain accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and check prescriptions.
• Maintain the DD Book and monthly PBS claims.
• Oversee dispensary orders and supply.
• Contribute to QCPP administration and compliance.
