Mercor is seeking detail-oriented Telugu annotators to build a diverse corpus of Telugu document pages. You will identify and bound regions such as titles, headings, and tables, then transcribe all content in Telugu script with exact fidelity.

Qualifikationen

• Native Telugu speaker with full command of Telugu script and orthography.
• Character-level accuracy matters; a single diacritic error is a defect.
• Experience with document annotation, transcription, localization, or OCR review is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Source publicly accessible Telugu PDFs with multimodal elements.
• Annotate and bound every meaningful region (title, heading, paragraph, list, table, figure, caption, etc.) with type and reading order.
• Record relationships by linking regions to their parent figure or table.
• Transcribe faithfully in Telugu script, flagging unreadable regions.
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, page dimensions, and handwriting/ formulas flags.
• Undergo peer review by a second Telugu expert; ensure accuracy on first pass.
