Job summary

United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna seeks a Team Leader (Electro-Mechanical & Equipment) to lead the electro-mechanical and equipment team, ensuring safe, reliable operation and maintenance of VIC buildings and installations.

The role requires at least five years of relevant experience, strong diagnostic skills, and proficiency in technical drawings, CMMS, and ERP tools. Fluent English and German are preferred in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in electro-mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of elevators, escalators, doors and related systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams and control schematics.
• Experience coordinating maintenance with technicians and contractors.
• Proficiency with CMMS/electronic work order systems and SAP/ERP is desirable.
• Working knowledge of English and German is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the Electro-Mechanical and Equipment Team
• Develop and monitor annual maintenance and preventative plans
• Plan schedules, allocate resources and supervise staff
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members
• Ensure safety regulations and quality standards are met
• Coordinate with contractors and external service providers
• Maintain technical documentation and AutoCAD drawings
