Qualifications
- Technical education in Electrical or Automation Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical and automation systems.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens SIMATIC S7 PLCs, TIA Portal, industrial drives, and fieldbus systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical and automation systems, including LV and MV equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Siemens SIMATIC S7 PLCs, TIA Portal, servo drives, motors, relays, frequency converters, and distributed I/O systems.
- Read, analyze, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC programs written in LAD, FBD, STL (AWL), and SCL.
- Install, commission, and maintain PROFINET and PROFIBUS networks.
- Perform cable installation, termination, EMC checks, shielding continuity, grounding verification, and communication diagnostics.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and conduct root-cause analysis of equipment failures.
- Resolve electrical, automation, drive, and network issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
- Collaborate with suppliers on software/hardware improvement projects and continuous optimization.
