Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Austria seeks a Senior Staff Engineer, Performance Engineering, within the CME to drive data-driven improvements across Frontend Manufacturing. You will combine project leadership, advanced analytics, and performance management to boost equipment performance and profitability.

You lead sub-projects, develop KPI reporting, coordinate analyses, and collaborate with international teams to standardize reporting and best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Informatics, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or a comparable field.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience in Maintenance Engineering (MNT) and/or UPE preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and data-driven problem solving.
• High data affinity and interest in analytics and AI tools.
• Proficient in SQL and Tableau; good stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive sub-projects and improvement initiatives within Maintenance & Equipment Engineering.
• Develop and sustain KPI reporting solutions for data-driven decisions across Frontend sites.
• Coordinate gap analyses and root cause investigations for corrective actions.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and profitability opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to standardize practices.
• Support KPI definition and monitoring for maintenance and equipment processes.
