Job summary

Infineon Technologies Austria AG in Villach is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer Performance Engineering within the Manufacturing and Operations team to drive data-driven improvement across Frontend Manufacturing. Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Informatics, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or a comparable field.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience in Maintenance Engineering (MNT) and/or Unit Process Engineering (UPE).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to transform data into actionable insights.
• Data affinity and enthusiasm for data-driven decision making.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau and project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in an international environment.
• Very good English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead sub-projects and improvement initiatives within Maintenance & Equipment Engineering.
• Develop, sustain and improve KPI reporting to enable data-driven decisions across Frontend sites.
• Coordinate gap analyses and root cause investigations for performance improvements.
• Analyze data to identify trends and optimization potential.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to standardize reporting and best practices.
• Define and monitor KPIs for maintenance and equipment engineering processes.
