Job summary
Frequentis is seeking a Service Engineer to coordinate technical specifications, integration, and acceptance of voice communication solutions for air traffic control. You will act as the main technical contact for long-standing customers and collaborate with globally distributed development teams to ensure successful delivery of tailored solutions.
This role involves planning system updates, addressing complex IT issues, and participating in international projects.
Qualifications
- Education in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in Service Engineering or System Engineering.
- Strong communication skills in English and ability to explain complex issues clearly.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customers on a 3rd-level/vendor support level, analyzing and resolving system issues.
- Plan and execute system updates and enhancements for complex IT systems.
- Understand customer requirements and contribute to product improvements.
- Participate in international projects with subsidiaries and partner companies.
- Review technical solutions against security requirements and implement necessary measures.
- Coordinate engineering activities within project teams and assess impact on outcomes.
