Job summary

An international technology company based in Vienna is seeking an Integration Engineer specializing in Voice Communication Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, at least 3 years of experience in system integration, and expertise in various technologies including Linux and network solutions. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

Key Tasks

• Planning and creation of system infrastructure and configuration, as well as corresponding documentation
• Integration of hardware/software modules and third-party components into our systems
• Development of test cases and verification of the functionality and compatibility of these components and modules
• Analysis of system requirements and design documents to avoid potential integration problems or conflicts
• Documentation of test results, identified problems, and solutions in Jira/Jama/Confluence
• Participation in reviews and feedback to improve quality, maintainability, and test coverage
• Research and implementation of best practices and new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• As part of a key account team, you will also support colleagues from other teams with your expertise

Key Qualifications

• Education with a focus on computer science and network technology
• At least 3 years of professional experience in service, system integration, or test engineering
• Know-how in Linux (Red Hat), embedded systems, server/virtualization environments (e.g., KVM Proxmox, VMware), network technology (VoIP - TCP/IP, SIP, HTTP, …), Postgres, Jenkins/Grovy, GIT/SVN, JIRA, Wireshark, Telecommunicationsstandards (z.B. E1/T1)
• Nice‑To‑Have‑Technology:

Salary

The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 42,600 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
