Zusammenfassung

Frequentis, Vienna, seeks a (Junior) System Test Engineer to join an international team. You will test, integrate, and validate complex safety-critical systems deployed in airport control towers and deployable digital towers.

The role includes on-site and remote work, strong collaboration with global customers, and up to 10–15% travel. Requirements include IT/telecommunications training, testing experience, familiarity with Linux and networking, JIRA/JAMA usage, and English/German language

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical training with a focus on IT/telecommunications or comparable qualification.
• Experience in testing—ideally integration or system testing.
• Familiar with Linux and network technologies (RHEL, Layer 2/3, UDP/TCP/multicast) and modern IT infrastructure.
• Experience with JIRA, JAMA, and test automation frameworks.
• Confident communication in German and English for international collaboration.
• Willingness for 10–15% international travel.

Aufgaben

• Test our systems across specification, implementation, and acceptance—from standard environments to Deployable Digital Tower solutions.
• Support integration, testing, and commissioning to ensure reliable live operations.
• Analyze requirements, design and execute manual and automated tests, ensuring high quality.
