Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Graz seeks a Senior Project Manager for Sensor Product Development in our R&D team. You will lead cross-functional product developments for automotive, consumer and industrial sensor applications, driving timely, budget-conscious execution and close collaboration across engineering, marketing and product management.

You will bring 8+ years in semiconductor R&D with 4+ years leading complex projects, strong planning and risk management, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in semiconductor or similar R&D-focused industries; 4+ years leading multi-disciplinary projects.
• IPMA-C certified or willing to certify within 1 year.
• Experience in Configuration Management and change request tracking tools.
• Experience in automotive development preferred; analog/digital IC design welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional product developments, coordinate project activities.
• Ensure timely execution of planned activities to meet production start schedule, budget and scope.
• Manage requirement change requests, risks, and use of FMEA.
• Maintain close cooperation with internal customers and suppliers during development.
• Align with Engineering, Marketing and Product Management to meet customer requirements.
• Escalate issues and risks to Management and take ownership to resolve them.
