CLC Consulting is supporting a fast-growing energy infrastructure scale-up in Vienna. The Senior Operations & Construction Manager will own end-to-end delivery across construction, commissioning and operations, coordinating with EPCs, suppliers and site teams while driving O&M processes and asset performance.

The role requires 5–10+ years hands-on experience in complex assets, an engineering background, and strong leadership with fluent German and English.

• Engineering background or strong practical technical understanding.
• Fluent German and English skills.

Responsabilités

• Taking ownership of project delivery, construction and commissioning of complex technical assets.
• Working closely with EPC contractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure on-time, safe delivery and quality.
• Supporting transition from construction into operations and maintenance.
• Managing and developing O&M processes, standards and asset performance.
• Building relationships with contractors and external technical partners.
• Identifying issues, prioritizing & finding practical on-the-ground solutions.

Location: Fully on-site in Vienna, with frequent travels to project sites across Austria

• Engineering background or strong practical technical understanding
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and external partners
• Ideally experience across both delivery and operational environments
• Background in energy, power or another asset-heavy and technically complex industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the maturity to manage experienced stakeholders
• Pragmatic, resourceful and solution-oriented, with a strong focus on getting things done
• Comfortable taking ownership, working independently and stepping beyond a narrowly defined role
• Enjoy working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Fluent German and English skills

Annual gross salary: STARTS from €110,000+ depending on your seniority, with the potential to significantly overpay a more experienced person
