Prodensa Group s.r.o. in Austria seeks a Customer Project Manager to lead and coordinate customer projects from order receipt to delivery.

You will manage cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, production, testing and logistics, ensuring on-time delivery and strong customer communication in a hybrid work setup (3 days onsite, 2 remote). The role requires 3+ years in project/order management, plus an engineering or industrial management degree and solid English skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business or Industrial Management or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in project management or order management.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineered-to-order environments preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment, switchgear or industrial projects is advantageous.
• Strong planning, coordination and organizational skills; reading technical drawings a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer projects from order receipt to delivery.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines and milestones.
• Monitor progress across engineering, procurement, production, testing and logistics.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Customer Project Manager to leadand coordinate customer projects within internal production teams. This role isresponsible for managing the full project lifecycle - from purchase order tofinal delivery -ensuring timely execution, high-quality standards, and strongcustomer communication.

Location: Lower Austria (hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2days remote)

Responsibility Scope

Project Ownership & Execution:

• Manage assigned customer projects from order receipt to delivery
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones
• Monitor progress across engineering, procurement, production, testing, andlogistics
• Ensure delivery commitments in terms of scope, timing, and quality

Customer Communication:

• Act as the main point of contact for customers during project execution
• Coordinate technical clarifications, timelines, and project updates
• Lead customer meetings, status calls, and escalation handling
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships

Cross-functional Coordination:

• Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, production, and planningteams
• Ensure smooth project execution through effective internal alignment
• Monitor project scope versus order confirmation
• Manage variation orders and additional cost topics
• Identify and escalation commercial risks

Quality & Delivery:

• Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and customer participation
• Ensure complete and accurate delivery documentation
• Drive issue resolution to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate project tracking and reportingPresent project status, risks, and actions internally
• Lead lessons learned and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Management, orequivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in project management, order management, or similarroles
• Experience in manufacturing or engineered-to-order environments preferred
• Knowledge of electrical equipment, switchgear, or industrial projects is astrong advantage
• Understanding of manufacturing project lifecycles
• Ability to read technical drawings is a plus
• Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage) and Excel
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Excellent English skills (mandatory for this role)
• German language skills are a plus
