CLC Consulting in Vienna seeks a Senior EPC Project Manager to own end-to-end execution from notice to proceed through commissioning and handover.

You will coordinate EPC contractors, site teams, and technical consultants, and maintain day-to-day site presence during critical project stages. The role requires 5–10+ years in EPC/project management and fluency in English and German, with frequent travel across Austria.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in EPC project execution or construction/project management roles.
• Experience in energy infrastructure (power plants, substations, renewables, industrial plants).
• Solid understanding of construction processes, electrical and/or mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and coordination across technical and commercial topics.
• Fluency in English and German.

Location: Fully on-site in Vienna, with frequent travels to project sites across Austria

In this role, you will:

• Take on the end-to-end responsibility for EPC project execution from NTP through to COD and operational handover
• Coordinate and manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, and technical consultants
• Own day-to-day site coordination during construction phases, including having an on-site presence during critical project stages
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and quality assurance across multiple interfaces
• Handle technical and commercial issues arising during construction in close alignment with engineering and procurement teams
• Review and validate contractor progress reports, invoices, claims, and change requests
• Coordinate with grid operators, permitting authorities, and local stakeholders
• Ideally, you have 5-10+ years of experience in EPC project execution or construction/project management roles
• Experience in energy infrastructure is strongly preferred (power plants, substations, renewables, industrial plants)
• You have solid understanding of construction processes, ideally including electrical and/or mechanical systems
• You have proven experience managing contractors, site teams, and working in a multi-stakeholder environments
• You’re comfortable operating in fast-paced, execution-driven environments with high responsibility
• You have strong communication and coordination skills across technical and commercial topics
• You’re fluent in both English and German

Compensation range is wider as it really depends on your seniority and experience, and it STARTS from €80,000 on an annual/gross basis
