Job summary

OSL in Austria seeks a Compliance Officer & MLRO to establish and oversee the company’s AML/CTF program in line with Austrian law and EU directives, including MiCAR. You will lead KYC/CDD, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting to the FMA while ensuring GDPR compliance and staff training.

The role requires fluency in German and English, a strong compliance background in financial services or crypto, and the ability to interact with regulators and senior management effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in law, finance, business administration or related field.
Minimum 5 years in a compliance role within financial services, crypto experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of Austrian AML/CTF laws (FM-GwG) and EU directives (MiCAR).
Strong knowledge of KYC/CDD principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain AML/CTF program compliant with FM-GwG, MiCAR and regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation controls.
Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and report to authorities.
Act as primary contact with the FMA and other regulators.
Develop and deliver AML/CTF training for employees and promote compliance culture.
