Job summary

Bybit X GmbH is recruiting a Deputy MLRO in Austria to support the MLRO in fulfilling all anti-financial crime obligations for a MiFID II licensed entity. The role oversees AML/CTF policies, KYC/CDD, and regulatory reporting while coordinating with FMA and other authorities.

Fluency in English is required; German is a strong advantage. A bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years in AML/CTF or securities compliance are essential for this second-line role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics.
• 4–6 years AML/CTF, KYC compliance, or securities compliance.
• Strong knowledge of FM-GwG (Austrian AML Act) and EU AMLD6; WAG 2018 and MiFID II requirements.
• Proven experience in a second-line-of-defence compliance or AML officer role.
• Fluency in English; German is a strong advantage.
• Clean criminal record (required for licensing).

Responsibilities

• Support MLRO in AML/CTF policies and procedures.
• Oversee CDD/EDD and ongoing monitoring for clients.
• Manage STR/SAR submissions to Austrian A-FIU; maintain SAR register.
• Coordinate with FM-GwG compliance and EU frameworks.
• Act as deputy responsible person under FM-GwG regulations.
• Handle regulatory reporting and documentation for Bybit X GmbH.
• Liaise with FMA for licensing matters and requests.
• Develop and track AFC KPIs/KRIs; perform risk assessments.
