Job summary

Bybit X GmbH in Vienna is seeking a Deputy MLRO to support the MLRO in fulfilling anti-financial crime obligations for a MiFID II/WAG-regulated investment firm. This second-line role covers AML/CTF, KYC, product governance, and regulatory liaison with the FMA.

You will oversee CDD/EDD, manage STR submissions to the Austrian A-FIU, conduct risk assessments, develop KPIs, deliver training, and participate in licensing processes, with English as working language and German knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 4–6 years of AML/CTF, KYC compliance, or securities compliance in financial services, investment firms, or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of FM-GwG, EU AMLD, WAG 2018, MiFID II organisational/conduct requirements; FMA practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist MLRO in AML/CTF policy implementation and ongoing monitoring.
• Oversee CDD/EDD and ongoing client risk assessments.
• Submit STR/SARs to Austrian A-FIU and maintain SAR registers.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and sanctions screening.
• Develop KPIs/KRIs for AFC activities and conduct regular QA reviews.
• Deliver AML/CTF training and maintain continuing education.
