Job summary

Bybit X GmbH in Austria seeks a Deputy MLRO to support AML/CTF obligations for a MiFID II licensed investment firm. The role requires independence to coordinate with the Compliance Officer and to oversee KYC/ transaction monitoring within a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in AML/CTF, KYC, and compliance, fluent English, and strong regulatory knowledge. Austrian location with a high‑regulatory focus offers a challenging path in a global fintech group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics.
• Minimum 4–6 years of AML/CTF, KYC compliance, or securities compliance in financial services.
• Strong working knowledge of FM-GwG (Austrian AML Act) and EU AMLD6; WAG 2018 and MiFID II requirements.
• Proven experience in a second‑line‑of‑defence compliance or AML officer role.
• Fluency in English; German is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the MLRO in implementing and maintaining AML/CTF policies aligned with FM-GwG, EU AMLD, and FMA guidance.
• Oversee KYC/KYB onboarding and risk assessments from an investment firm perspective.
• Act as deputy responsible person under FM‑GwG § 9 and maintain regulatory standing.
• Manage STR/SAR submissions and AML reporting to Austrian authorities.
• Co‑own the AML/CFT Policy, Sanctions Policy, Compliance Policy, and related procedures.
