Zusammenfassung

HCLTech in Austria is seeking a Senior IT Engineer (OSS) to provide local and remote site support for IT services. You will handle user incidents, manage infrastructure components, and collaborate with service owners, centres and operations teams to ensure reliable service delivery.

The role requires strong ITIL-based service delivery, hands-on data centre experience, and willingness to travel up to 20% of time.

Qualifikationen

• Education – B.Eng in information technology or master degree.
• 6+ years’ experience in IT, with hands-on Data Centre exposure.
• Solid technical understanding of servers, storage, operating systems, cluster technologies, SAP, databases or middleware.
• IT service delivery competencies, ITIL knowledge or similar.
• Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day support.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of working time.
• B driving license.

Aufgaben

• Conduct support operations on day-to-day basis.
• In cooperation with Infrastructure operations and engineering teams, perform actions to maintain Service Level Objectives and compliance.
• In cooperation with Service Owners, conduct service management operations for local and legacy services.
• Strive for continuous improvement of service and support operations.
• Participate in IT Compliance development for own area (Senior Engineer).
• Participate in Infra development within own area of expertise (Senior Engineer).
• Manage business integration with deployment of standard IT services, coordination of local key users and local escalations.
• Participation in Duty Ring at sites within two hours from home base, where applicable.
