HCLTech in Graz, Austria, seeks a Senior IT Engineer for local IT services, incidents and requests handling. You will work with Infrastructure operations and engineering to maintain SLAs, security and compliance, and manage service operations for local and legacy apps.

You may participate in development projects with senior engineers as agreed. You should have 6+ years in IT with hands-on data centre experience, strong ITIL knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 20% of time.

Qualifikationen

• Education – minimum qualification: B.Eng. in information technology or master degree.
• 6+ years IT experience with hands-on data center work.
• Strong technical understanding across servers, storage, OS, clustering, SAP, databases or middleware.
• IT service delivery, ITIL knowledge, situation management and broad IT infrastructure awareness.
• Independent work style with minimal day-to-day supervision and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Aufgaben

• Provide local IT service support and manage incidents and requests.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering to meet SLAs and compliance tasks.
• Perform service management for local and legacy services with service owners.
• Drive continuous improvement of service and support operations.
• Contribute to IT compliance and infra development as agreed.
• Participate in duty rotations at sites within two hours of home base.
