Frequentis AG in Vienna, Austria is seeking an Expert Integration Engineer (all genders) to lead the technical specification, setup, integration and acceptance of systems at customer sites, and to act as the project’s technical contact across continents.

The role requires strong network know-how, Linux installation and configuration, testing, and excellent customer communication, with 30–40% travel in Europe and beyond; salary begins at €51,520 gross per year (38.5 hour week) plus market-aligned

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge in network technologies: switching L2/L3, routing, MPLS, QoS, satellite technologies.
• Skilled in IT architectures, deployment tools, software-defined functions, and scripting.
• Experience installing and configuring network infrastructure and computer hardware for corporate and industrial environments.
• Technical installation and configuration skills, especially in Linux environments.
• Know-how in testing activities: definition, execution, root-cause analysis, and reporting.
• Good communication skills, customer orientation, self-driven and proactive.
• Fluent English; other languages (e.g., Portuguese) are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Responsible for the technical specification, setup, integration, and acceptance of a system at the customer's site.
• Act as the technical contact person for ongoing projects across continents.
• Configure and set up standard IT and network components as well as Frequentis products in a safety‑critical environment.
• Clarify technical feasibility, design system architecture, and optimise the system from a cost‑benefit perspective.
• Coordinate internal and external suppliers (documentation, testing, software development).
• Conduct acceptance tests with customers, project teams, and stakeholders at headquarters and on site.
