Frequentis Group, headquartered in Vienna, is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. The company serves over 500 customers in about 150 countries, with more than 45,000 workstations relying on their expertise.

We are seeking a capable test engineer to integrate hardware/software modules, develop test cases, analyze requirements, and perform integration testing within an agile Scrum environment.

Formación

• Completed training in computer science, network engineering, electronics, communications engineering, embedded systems or a comparable field (HTL, FH, university).
• 2–5 years of professional experience in service, system integration or test engineering.
• Strong technical skills with analytical thinking; enjoy teamwork.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate hardware and software modules and 3rd party components.
• Develop test cases and verify functionality and compatibility.
• Analyze system requirements and set up test environments per customer needs.
• Perform integration tests and document results in Jira, Jama and Confluence.
• Work in a Scrum team and support colleagues across teams.

Job Introduction

Key Tasks

• You integrate hardware and software modules as well as 3rd party components into our systems.
• Developing test cases and checking functionality and compatibility.
• Analyze system requirements and design documents, set up test environments and configure them according to customer requirements.
• Performing integration tests and documenting the results as well as problem identification and resolution in Jira, Jama and Confluence.
• You work in an agile Scrum team and support colleagues across teams with your know-how.
• Active participation in reviews, feedback to optimize quality, maintainability and test coverage.

Key Qualifications

• Completed training in computer science, network engineering, electronics, communications engineering, embedded systems or a comparable field (HTL, FH, university).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in service, system integration or test engineering.
• Sound technical skills, analytical thinking and enjoy working in a team.
• Sound knowledge of Linux (Red Hat, Embedded Linux), virtualization, network technology (e.g. VoIP) and IT security.
• Very good knowledge of German and English
