Zusammenfassung

SQUER in Vienna is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect/Cloud Strategy Lead to guide customers through large-scale cloud transformations. You design secure, scalable architectures across AWS, GCP, Azure, and hybrid environments, balancing hands-on IaC with strategic leadership.

You’ll collaborate with executives, steer project delivery, and represent SQUER at conferences. Fluent in English and German, you’ll mentor teams and shape cloud strategy, architecture reviews, and best-practice governance.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience in cloud consulting and enterprise project leadership.
• Ability to balance hands-on expertise with strategic planning for cloud adoption.
• Deep technical understanding of large-scale infrastructures and cloud security.
• Strong background in Terraform, Pulumi, or similar IaC tools.
• Proven track record in project execution and stakeholder management.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Passion for shaping ideas, driving innovation, and influencing outcomes.
• Active use of AI-powered tools to amplify productivity and quality.
• Clear cross-language communication in English and German.

Aufgaben

• Act as a trusted advisor guiding customers through their cloud transformation journey.
• Lead the design and execution of highly complex and large-scale cloud infrastructures.
• Remain technically sharp and step in when needed to ensure well-architected solutions.
• Maintain IaC capabilities with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools.
• Ensure successful project delivery aligning cloud initiatives with business goals.
• Consult and present cloud strategies to executive leadership at the highest level.
• Represent SQUER as a cloud expert in conferences, publications, and forums.
• Build long-term customer relationships and drive cloud strategy discussions.
