TeamViewer is seeking an experienced C++ software engineer to design and develop platform independent functionalities for client and services. You will optimize code, own features end to end, and use AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity while maintaining strong security practices.

The role emphasizes independent work, proactive learning, and collaboration within a diverse team. English fluency is mandatory, with German as a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of professional experience in object-oriented software development using C++ (C++14 or above)
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools like coding agents or LLM-based assistants
• Fluency in English is mandatory, German a plus
• Knowledge of build tools like CMake and Git; Conan is a plus
• Experience in parallel programming, distributed systems, security, SQL, or network communication desired

• Design and develop platform independent functionalities for our client and services using C++
• Optimize and enhance software with new, efficient algorithms and technologies
• Own features end to end from concept through implementation to rollout
• Improve reliability, maintainability, and performance of the codebase
• Use coding agents and LLM-based assistants with a focus on quality and security
• Automate recurring tasks with agentic workflows and share learnings with other C++ engineers
• Mentor engineers and contribute to design and code reviews
• Advise product owners on feasibility, effort estimates, and technical direction
