TeamViewer GmbH is seeking a senior C++ engineer to join our AI-driven enterprise platform in Austria. You will design and implement platform-independent features, collaborating with product teams to deliver scalable IT solutions.

You will work with AI-assisted development tools, CI/CD, and modern design patterns, mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction while ensuring performance and security across enterprise environments.

Qualifikationen

• University or college degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or related subject.
• 7+ years of professional C++ development with C++14+ and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (coding agents/LLMs).
• English fluency mandatory; German a plus.

• Design and develop platform independent functionalities for our client and services using C++.
• Optimize and enhance software with new, efficient algorithms and technologies.
• Own features end to end, from concept through implementation to rollout.
• Continuously improve the reliability, maintainability, and performance of our codebase.
• Use coding agents and LLM-based assistants with a focus on quality and security.
• Automate recurring parts of your work with agentic workflows and share what works with fellow C++ engineers.
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar through design and code reviews.
• Advise product owners on feasibility, effort estimates, and technical direction of new features.

Our team builds and evolves the integrations that connect TeamViewer with the wider enterprise software ecosystem, such as Microsoft LAPS and Intune. We enable secure credential handling, seamless device connectivity and efficient remote access across enterprise environments.

Requirements

• University or college degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or any related subject

• 7+ years of professional experience in the field of object-oriented software development using C++ (C++14 or above) and design patterns

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools like coding agents or LLM-based assistants

• Enthusiasm for AI-native ways of working, from automating recurring tasks to rethinking how software gets built

• Solid knowledge of build tools like CMake and git, experience with Conan is a plus

• Experience in any of the following fields are desirable: parallel programming, distributed and scalable systems, security, SQL, or network communication

• Ability to work independently and be proactive

• Structured and analytical way of thinking/working, being a team player, as well as motivated to learn new things

• Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus
