TeamViewer GmbH in Austria is seeking an experienced AI software engineer to join the Session Insights team in Linz. You will help transform raw session data into meaningful insights, automation, and productivity gains for customers worldwide.

Working at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and product innovation, you will design scalable services, collaborate with product, platform, and security teams, and drive data-driven decisions to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python expertise; production-grade systems.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI-powered applications or platforms.
• Experience with modern AI technologies including LLMs, retrieval systems, tool integrations, and workflow orchestration.
• Ability to define success metrics, evaluate performance, and use data to improve outcomes.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-based applications.
• Experience deploying AI systems in production with reliability, security, and performance considerations.
• Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools while maintaining high code quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities

Join TeamViewer's Session Insights team and help redefine how millions of users work with AI. You will play a key role in building intelligent experiences that transform raw session data into meaningful insights, automation, and productivity gains for customers worldwide. Working at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and product innovation, you will help shape TeamViewer Session Insights and the next generation of AI-powered capabilities that make remote support, IT operations, and digital workplaces smarter, more efficient, and more human. Your work will directly influence how customers understand, optimize, and automate their daily workflows while contributing to one of TeamViewer's most strategic AI initiatives.

Build AI-powered capabilities for TeamViewer Session Insights and the broader AI platform.

Design and develop services that enable intelligent workflows, automation, and seamless user experiences.

Define testing and evaluation approaches to ensure AI features meet quality, reliability, and performance standards.

Improve AI solutions through experimentation, iteration, and data-driven decision making.

Optimize AI services for scalability, performance, cost efficiency, and reliability in production environments.

Partner with product, platform, and security teams to deliver secure and impactful customer-facing capabilities.

Contribute to engineering best practices and leverage AI-assisted development tools to increase productivity and quality.

Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python expertise and a track record of delivering production-grade systems. Java/Kotlin experience are a plus.

Hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications, platforms, or intelligent automation solutions.

Experience working with modern AI technologies, including LLMs, retrieval systems, tool integrations, and workflow orchestration.

Proven ability to define success metrics, evaluate system performance, and use data to improve outcomes.

Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-based applications.

Familiarity with the challenges of deploying AI systems in production, including reliability, security, scalability, and performance.

Experience using AI-assisted development tools while maintaining high standards for code quality and maintainability.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
