Camunda is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to own automated reliability testing and chaos engineering at the core of Camunda 8. This role rewards curiosity, experimentation, and relentless improvement as you break things in safe environments to strengthen the platform before customers are affected.

You'll collaborate with talented colleagues, learn new technologies, and contribute to guiding product direction while embodying Camunda's FAITH values.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of backend software engineering (Java) experience.
• Proven drive to experiment, learn new tech, and conduct automated reliability testing.
• Experience with distributed systems and resilience engineering.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes-based production environments.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and run automated chaos experiments and reliability tests.
• Investigate and debug failures or performance regressions in Java-based products.
• Improve load testing, observability, and reliability tooling.
• Collaborate with QA and engineering teams and influence roadmaps based on experiments.
• Advocate user-centric reliability and learn Camunda products firsthand.
