Engineering Software Steyr GmbH is looking for a full-time Automation Engineer in Oberösterreich, Steyr. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for both frontend and backend aspects of our CFD software. You will develop tests to support continuous development and contribute to a robust software validation pipeline. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and possess familiarity with automated testing systems and version control. Your Future Role

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for both frontend and backend components of our CFD software.
• Develop automated regression tests, performance tests, and integration tests to support continuous development cycles.
• Be part of Testing & Customer Solutions team and contribute to a scalable, automated software validation pipeline.
• Execute, analyze, and document validation and verification cases for new features and releases.
• Support customer projects by translating improvement requests into test scenarios.
• Work closely with developers, CFD specialists, and service teams across multiple global locations.
• Contribute to improving overall software quality, stability, and usability through proactive communication and independent problem-solving.

You offer

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Familiarity with automated testing of both frontend (UI, UX workflows) and backend (APIs, compute engines, data pipelines) systems.
