Zusammenfassung

Sportradar, the world’s leading sports technology company, seeks a Senior Accountant – Capitalized Software to own end-to-end accounting for internally developed software. You'll ensure IFRS/SOX compliance, drive process improvements, and collaborate with FP&A, the Data Office, and Engineering.

You’ll manage capitalization assessments, journal entries, and disclosures for 20-F, while supporting audits and building strong internal controls in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years in an accounting/finance position or at a Big4 firm.
• Experience designing, implementing and documenting policies, controls and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, particularly IAS 38 Intangible Assets.
• Prior SOX experience (must).
• Financial reporting experience; public company experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English (C1).

Aufgaben

• Capitalization assessment for IAS 38 and capitalization eligibility.
• Approve One-Pagers, set project codes and capitalization dates in Jira.
• Monitor capitalization end dates and review extension requests.
• Prepare and post software capitalization entries and accruals.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve outstanding items.
• Assign useful lives and monitor impairment/write-offs.
• Set annual capitalization wage rates with FP&A.
• Review unfinished and fully amortized programs; prepare disclosures for 20-F.
• Support audits with required documentation and discrepancies.
