Zusammenfassung

Sportradar is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for international companies within the Sportradar Group in Vienna. This role offers career progression as you work toward becoming a qualified accountant in a fast-growing, global business.

You will participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes, prepare reconciliations, assist with reporting, and collaborate with the finance team across departments.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in an international company or BIG4.
• Understanding of IFRS is essential.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel skills essential; knowledge of Dynamic 365 is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare reconciliations across the balance sheet: bank, creditors/debtors, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, settlements.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing tasks.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and requests; collaborate with the finance team.
• Perform ongoing financial control functions in line with internal control policies.
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and documentation.

Job Description

The Accountant reports to the Accounting team lead. This role would suit an ambitious, energetic person keen to progress further in dynamic, fast-growing business.

The Challenge:

Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare reconciliations across the balance sheet including bank, creditor/debtors, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, settlement (control) accounts.

Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing tasks and ensure timely completion

Assist with ad hoc projects and requests

Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments

Perform ongoing financial control functions in accordance with the Sportradar internal control policies

Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation

YOUR PROFILE:

A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in an international company or BIG4

Understanding of IFRS is essential

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Professional MS Office skills – especially Excel, Dynamic 365 accounting software knowledge is a plus

Additional Information

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
