The IAEA's Department of Safeguards seeks an Instrumentation Technician to prepare and maintain safeguards instrumentation used globally. You will assemble, calibrate, install and repair critical equipment under the Team Leader, ensuring reliable operation.

Responsibilities include handling procurement, spare parts, acceptance testing, and documentation. The role may involve CNC machining and training end-users, with exposure to radioactive materials and strict safety compliance.

Qualificações

• Four years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with electrical design principles and instrumentation assembly.
• Familiarity with safety standards for nuclear facilities is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, calibrate, install, configure, maintain and repair safeguards instrumentation.
• Support procurement and manage spare parts and inventories.
• Conduct acceptance testing and update technical documentation.
• Operate CNC mills for part fabrication and provide training as needed.
• Work with radioactive materials requiring medical clearance and safety compliance.
