Job summary

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is seeking a Mechanical Technician (Seals) in Seibersdorf, Lower Austria. You will prepare metal seals and field verifiable passive seals, perform engraving, assembly and quality control, and support mechanics in handling materials.

The role requires at least two years as a technician, completed secondary education and fluency in English. The IAEA offers a tax-free base salary starting around EUR 38,382, plus benefits and vacation.

Qualifications

• Completed secondary education.
• Minimum of two years of working experience as a technician.
• Experience in operating mechanical and/or electronic equipment.
• Excellent oral and written command of English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IAEA metal seals and field verifiable passive seals according to guidelines.
• Fabricate, finish and document seals: source materials, assemble components, engrave signatures, clean and QC.
• Assist mechanics with handling raw/heavy materials as needed.
• Package and organize seals for delivery to the Vienna International Centre.
