Job summary

Pareto is seeking a Junior Business Development Manager who speaks Swiss German to grow our client base across European markets. You will engage prospects, perform territory planning, and travel to client sites as needed, while enjoying the autonomy to plan your diary.

The role offers a competitive €40k base with potential to reach €45k with OTE/commission, and a largely remote setup where you set your own schedule and progression based on your strengths.

Qualifications

• Ideally educated to degree level.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
• Confident with good presentation skills.
• Driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge of the company, marketplace, competitors and target client.
• Undertake effective territory planning and preparation to capitalise on opportunities.
• Regularly speak to prospects by phone and travel to client sites to maintain relationships, overcome objections and educate them on the company's value proposition.
• Implement marketing and category initiatives throughout your customer base.
• Manage and monitor the performance of sales throughout your assigned territory.
• Attend regional and national conferences, networking with existing clients to further business generation.
