Placements24 is seeking a Remote AI Ethics and Compliance Lead to shape responsible AI development. You will establish policies, guide teams, and ensure alignment with GDPR, AI Act, and privacy standards while working from anywhere.

The role requires an advanced degree and 7+ years in AI governance or technology ethics, with strong analytical and communication skills to influence diverse, global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in law, ethics, public policy, or computer science with technology ethics focus.
• Minimum 7 years in technology ethics, AI governance, or related field.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and ethical challenges.
• Experience in developing ethical frameworks and compliance programs.
• Strong knowledge of international privacy regulations and AI-specific laws.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve AI ethics policies and best practices.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for AI projects.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, AI Act and related standards.
• Provide guidance and training on responsible AI development and compliance.
• Monitor global AI ethics trends, regulations and societal concerns.
• Establish processes for ethical review of high-impact AI systems.
• Engage with regulators, academics, and industry groups on governance matters.
• Maintain documentation related to AI ethics and compliance.
