Job summary

Mental Health Group in Vienna is seeking an AI Governance Team Member (all genders) for a full-time, hybrid role. You will ensure compliance with EU AI Act, GDPR, and DORA, coordinate governance networks, and support AI Boards and decision-making forums.

Applicants should have 3–5+ years in Data/AI governance with strong stakeholder management, English proficiency, and a structured, analytical approach. German is a plus. Salary details follow collective agreements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Economics, Data Governance, Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in Data/AI governance, compliance, risk management, or related regulatory functions.
• Strong knowledge of EU AI Act, GDPR, DORA; experience with governance frameworks, risk assessments, and compliance processes.
• Skilled in facilitating cross-functional networks; excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• A structured and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as strong analytical skills.
• Very good English skills; knowledge of German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EU AI and data regulations (AI Act, GDPR, DORA).
• Coordinate the AI Responsible Persons network across the Group, providing guidance and governance processes.
• Facilitate AI Board, Councils, and decision-making forums, including preparation and follow-up.
• Maintain the AI Register: classification, documentation, evaluation, and monitoring of AI systems.
• Define and implement AI governance policies, procedures, and risk assessment practices.
• Partner with affected IT & Business Units; build awareness through training and communication of AI governance standards.
