Job summary

Thales in Germany and Austria is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Data & Application Security covering Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, and Serbia. This remote role focuses on strategic sales leadership and expanding the regional footprint.

You will drive the sales cycle from opportunity to closure, nurture relationships with CISOs and partners, and ensure profitable pricing. English fluency is required; knowledge of another regional language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with a business or IT related qualification.
• Experience selling IT security solutions to large enterprises.
• Existing network with CISOs in the region would be beneficial.
• Structured approach to organizing and executing a detailed Sales Territory Plan.
• Very good English; another regional language is a plus.

Your mission as Regional Sales Manager

• Strategic Sales Leadership: Drive local Thales Data & App Security sales, targeting key accounts and new prospects through direct or indirect channels (focusing direct sales) for your dedicated sales region: Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia
• Sales Thrill: Fuel your passion for closing deals by expertly managing sales activities and exceeding targets
• Business Development: Nurture and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities, contributing to revenue growth
• Relationship Building: Foster enduring relationships with clients and partners, positioning Thales as a trusted data security provider
• Pricing and Margin Management: Align offerings with pricing strategies for profitability
• Customer Focus: Enhance client relationships using ethical sales methods and compelling propositions
• Data Management: Utilize tools for accurate customer interactions and information
• Marketing Collaboration: Partner with distributors for innovative marketing activities
• Communication: Engage promptly through various channels, aided by internal staff
• Performance Monitoring: Report on activities for insights and decision-making and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports

We are looking forward to

• Educated to degree level with a business or IT related qualification
• Experienced in selling IT Security solutions to large enterprises
• Existing network with CISO’s of the regions’ top companies would be benefitial
• A proven structured approach and methodology to organise, manage and execute a detailed Sales Territory Plan
• Very good English language skills; Fluency in an additional language familiar in your sales region is beneficial
• Technically you convince with your knowledge of underlying security technologies and a broad proficiency in software and hardware IT
• Personally you enthuse with your ability to communicate our sales and marketing strategy as well as to articulate the Thales message to a wide variety of audiences
