Job summary

innoscripta Austria is seeking a Customer Success Manager to own complex client projects around the Austrian R&D Tax Incentive, guiding customers through the funding process and ensuring timely submissions.

You will be the main contact for clients and internal stakeholders, build long-term relationships, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with Finance, Controlling, tax advisors and other departments to deliver successful projects. Fluent German and strong Excel skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, completed commercial apprenticeship, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least three years of professional experience in the Austrian R&D Tax Incentive, R&D funding, tax consulting, or a comparable advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of the Austrian R&D Tax Incentive process and experience working with R&D projects and technical documentation.
• Experience managing customer projects independently and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of business processes, commercial principles, and tax-related matters.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and decision-makers.
• Highly organized, analytical, and self-driven with excellent prioritization skills.
• Fluent German and excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support and strategic guidance to our existing customers throughout the entire Austrian R&D Tax Incentive process.
• Independently manage and coordinate customer projects, including customer meetings, status updates, and stakeholder alignment.
• Review, prepare, and ensure the quality of project-related documentation while guaranteeing accurate, complete, and timely submissions.
• Advise customers on eligible research and development activities and support them throughout the funding process.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Controlling, tax advisors, and other internal departments to ensure the successful execution of customer projects.
• Analyze customer needs and identify additional funding opportunities and business potential within existing customer accounts.
• Guide customers through complex funding and tax-related processes while serving as their trusted advisor.
• Actively contribute to the optimization of internal processes and support the continuous development of the Customer Success organization.
