Job summary

Octapharma Pharmazeutika Produktionsges.m.b.H. in Vienna seeks a Group Expert QCIO (m/f/d) on a temporary basis to lead innovation and improvement projects within Group QC, coordinating with analytical experts and cross-functional teams across sites.

The role requires a strong analytical background, project leadership, and fluency in German and English. The position is Vienna-based and runs until 30.04.2027, with attractive benefits and a focus on global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
• Experience with analytical methods and method validation in a GMP-regulated environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and sites
• Experience coordinating projects and driving activities to completion
• Ability to work independently and navigate a global organisation with multiple stakeholders
• Fluency in German and English

Responsibilities

• Drive and coordinate innovation and improvement projects within Group QC
• Act as the key link between project teams, analytical experts, Group QC Method Validation and local QC organisations
• Coordinate and follow up analytical method development, validation and transfer activities across development and technology transfer projects
• Represent Group QC in cross-functional project teams and provide quality control expertise
• Prepare and present analytical method status assessments, analytical risk assessments and project updates to stakeholders
• Drive GMP-related activities including risk assessments, change controls, SOPs and other quality documentation
