Job summary

g2 Recruitment seeks a Freelance Project Manager to drive large-scale solar energy projects across Austria. German-speaking candidates with EPC and delivery experience are preferred and must be available to start immediately.

Location: Austria (Hybrid). Duration: Long-Term Contract. Start Date: ASAP. The role covers development through execution, coordinating EPC contractors, managing schedules and budgets, and communicating with stakeholders in an international project setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewable energy and solar projects from development through to execution
• Coordinate EPC contractors and external stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Oversee project schedules, resources and risk management activities
• Support subsidy and funding application processes
• Provide regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Proven experience managing renewable energy projects
• Strong background delivering solar energy projects
• Experience working with EPC contractors and project delivery teams
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Knowledge of renewable energy subsidies, grants or funding schemes
• Availability to start immediately
• Additional renewable energy sector experience outside of solar
• Experience working in international project environments

I’m working with a leading renewable energy developer that is looking to bring on an experienced Freelance Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale solar energy projects across Austria. This is an excellent opportunity for a German-speaking project professional with strong EPC and project delivery experience who is available to start immediately.
