Zusammenfassung

Extreme Networks seeks a Systems Engineer to deliver technology consulting and technical sales support across key accounts. You will lead PoC demonstrations, design solutions meeting customer requirements, and collaborate with partners to advance opportunities.

Travel will be required both domestically and internationally. We value strong networking knowledge, bilingual German/English presentation skills, and a proven pre-sales track record.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent presentation skills, fluent in German and English.
• Strong pre-sales engineering track record in networking.
• Sound knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/IPv6, VPNs, Wi‑Fi operation and design, and security principles.
• Advantageous: cloud tech and cloud-based management platforms, virtualization, orchestration software, SD-WAN, automation scripting and APIs.
• Ability to work in customer project teams on design and PoC labs and set PoC success criteria.

Aufgaben

• Provide technology and product consulting and technical sales support across account opportunities.
• Deliver high-level and in-depth technical presentations for customers and Extreme channel partners.
• Support RFI/RFP responses, organize and lead PoC activities, design solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Participate as a specialist on virtual teams and contribute to other team activities.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
