Roche is seeking an experienced Technical Mobile Engineering Manager in Vienna to lead a mobile engineering group, balance hands-on architecture with people management, and scale our mobile strategy across multi-app ecosystems.

You will drive on-device ML deployment, ensure best practices in testing, CI/CD, and performance, while coordinating with Product, Design, and regulatory teams on SaMD releases.

Qualifikationen

• Deep hands-on mobile development with strong system architecture.
• Experience running high-performance on-device ML models in production.
• Mentoring one or more engineering teams and balancing tech leadership with people management.
• Experience in regulated environments (SaMD/medical device software) is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (IEC 62304, MDR/FDA) and software development lifecycle.

Aufgaben

• Build, mentor, and manage a group of mobile engineers and foster growth.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance in mobile app development, architecture, and optimization.
• Oversee delivery of mobile projects within timelines and budgets, collaborating with PMs and Designers.
• Contribute to SaMD release processes and regulatory documentation.
• Drive innovation and improve user experience through mobile strategy and cross-team collaboration.
