Roche Holding AG in Vienna is seeking an experienced Technical Mobile Engineering Manager to lead high-volume mobile teams and drive on-device ML initiatives. You will balance hands-on architecture with people leadership, and contribute to SaMD release under MDR/FDA guidelines.

You will manage performance reviews, collaborate with product and design, and ensure timely delivery while advancing a mobile strategy across Roche products.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on mobile development with strong system architecture skills.
• Experience deploying on-device ML models in production.
• Designing reusable modular components for multi-app ecosystems.
• Mentoring engineering teams and balancing technical leadership with people management.
• Exposure to regulated medical device software (IEC 62304, MDR, FDA) is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead and grow a team of mobile engineers, focusing on mentorship and performance development.
• Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Partner with Product, Design and QA to plan features and deliver on time.
• Oversee SaMD release activities and regulatory documentation alignment.
• Drive innovation and align engineering efforts with business goals.
