Zusammenfassung

Roche is seeking an Android Expert to lead the development of mobile UI components and ensure correct design and implementation of cutting-edge interfaces for Android apps. You will translate UX and client requirements into technical solutions and guide the design system.

You may be located in Vienna or Sant Cugat (near Barcelona) and will collaborate with Roche clients, designers and front-end developers to establish effective collaboration and adoption of the design system.

Qualifikationen

• Android Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• Expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Git.
• Experience with Material Design 3 in Jetpack Compose.
• Ability to build reusable, testable UI components and write unit/screenshot/UI tests.
• Deep knowledge of accessibility (A11y) in Jetpack Compose and RTL.
• Curiosity about cross‑platform trends and modern tech.

Aufgaben

• Architect, develop, maintain mobile design system components and interaction patterns.
• Write and review clean, testable, scalable code aligned with best practices.
• Maintain code quality through automated testing, code review, and CI pipelines.
• Provide technical assessment of mobile components, ensuring quality and usability.
• Contribute to mobile architecture aligned with platform strategies and standards.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to align goals and outcomes.
• Document mobile components and support adoption, testing and maintenance.
