Job summary

Exyte in Austria is seeking a Construction Manager Mechanical (m/f/d) to lead on-site execution of high-tech EPC projects with a focus on mechanical installations (MEP) in demanding, mission-critical environments.

You will manage subcontractors, plan and monitor construction progress, ensure quality and compliance with EHS rules, conduct site inspections and coordinate documentation while traveling within the D-A-CH region.

Qualifications

• Very good German language and good English language skills for communication with international and local stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within the D-A-CH region and to work on-site during project assignments.
• Intercultural competence, team spirit, and an independent working style.

Responsibilities

• Construction management of high-tech industrial projects with a focus on mechanical installations (MEP).
• Ensuring that construction projects are carried out according to schedule and a high level of quality.
• Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and responsibility for mechanical site activities.
• Meetings and correspondence with subcontractors as well as technical contact for customers.
• Schedule planning and monitoring construction progress within the mechanical scope.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations.
• Conducting site inspections and acceptance tests.
• Recording defects and tracking defect resolution progress.
• Measurement creation and review of submitted subcontractor documentation.
